So i went in to change oil and get state inspections sticker. The first thing the "mechanic" ask is if my truck is diesel. So the first thing i do is say i have an emergency and have to leave. I was like wtf dude for real.

Idk wat wld sound better and all stock just magna flow exhaust

very tough call to make on the sound.

what sounds like shit to me is music to someone elses ears.

a few different ways ya can go........

gut/bust out the 2 rear or all cats & make it look like your still stock

remove however many cats & have pipes put in there place

Justin @ JMB performance, a vendor here, has some very nice mid pipes for stock manifold/shorty headers. ya can get them with or without cats

only "suggestion" i can make as far as someone doin the cat work would be Rich @ Rich's Performance Muffler. his number is 972-461-0776, super nice guy, great workmanship. he is Wylie. he also has a web site.

i would try hangin the rear O2 sensors if the fresh air before goin with any kind of O2 sim.

i have passed both ways. with 2 cats & no cats.

as long as ya ain't got any active codes, especially emissions related codes, ya should pass.

& your allowed 2 systems not pass & still get a sticker.

on your inspection receipt, did all systems pass???
