My pops 1957 ,he was 17 fresh out of high school when he joined up . This was right before he was air dropped into the boarder of Vietnam and Cambodia. They were to set up an air strip to bring in supply's . We did not hear from him again for over 6 months or more ,they told my mom he was M.I.A. till they could confirm his death .Then they found him in a M.A.S.H. unit all busted up .His plane went down and the ones that lived crawled out .When he healed up he re-enlisted and went back .Rest in peace Pops:rock:

Yea many men in my family served during that time and I've heard the same horror stories.
