need some help and advice

ok if i dont start my truck every two days the third day the battery is dead the only aftermarket part on the truck that plug into the battery are the cutouts anyone have any troubleshooting ideas i may have missed

on deployment right now so i asked the wife to swing out and grab an optimum well just have to see if this works tried everything i could think of but thank you will keep you posted

I agree. Battery has dead cell. If you look closely down the sides it should be flat. Often a bad cell battery will bulge slightly on sides. :burnout:

Check out the Interstate Mega-Tron Plus.... I looked at batteries for a while before choosing the MTP... 1000 AMPS, 850 CCA, better stats than the Optima and at about half the price. I picked one up from FireStone for $109 and love it.

first try to disconnect the cutouts. they are solenoids and will draw power if they are "stuck" abit. Maybe an adjustment might be in order

what kind of cutouts are they? My pypes have geardrive moters on them, I had to send them back to factory for a recall they are good now.
