New Camera

Picked up a Cannon Rebel T3i a few weeks ago. Havent really had time to mess with it other than some baby pics and whatnot. It was nice out today so I went a snapped a few pics on a local Clemson University experimental farm. The cam takes amazing pics. Cant wait to hit those car shows in a few months. Im gonna be the weirdo laying on the ground trying to get the perfect shot of some old muscle car.

Thanks! I like how fat the rear tires look in pic 5. And yea black always looks awesome when its clean, but keeping it that way is a full time job.

Thanks Ken. Im still learning how to use this camera. I found that as the sun went down the pics came out WAY better. Also I took the auto focus off and did it manually with better results. Just took these about 30 minutes ago.

If you are talking about your 8 megapixel iPhone, then no….it doesnt. This camera has 18 megapixels, and a lens that cost about the same as a new iPhone 5. Meaning I could take any of these pictures and blow it up to poster size without anything getting blurry. Also, these are the first pics Ive really taken. It has about 100 little gadgets built into to it to help take even better pictures that I havent figured out yet. But, cool phone tho...

The whole megapixels game is smoke oil. The quality of the pixels is more important. I had an old Sony 3.2 mp cam and you could take a pic of a moth, plug into my little 46" tv and zoom in on the fibers on its antenna and it was crystal clear. I would rather have another one of those than the one I have now.
