We have come up with a great idea for the 2014 TOTM/TOTY. The themes will be put out for the entire year, allowing people time to prepare and the ability to choose which months they would like to participate. Only NEW pictures will be accepted!!! We have all seen the same pics for a long time. This year, you will need to actually get out there and get creative. This serves the purpose of keeping the annual calendar full of fresh pics and weeding out the ones that seem to appear every single TOTM. I will keep it at 5 trucks per month unless we get a ton of nominations. So, pick your battles and make it interesting! Here are the monthly themes.

January - Work trucks. Show your rig being used for the job. Hauling, covered in filth, on a job site, and towing Fords are encouraged.

February - Winter. Best snowy pic wins. Truck covered in snow or in a winter landscape is the goal.

March - Trucks in the wild. Get out there in a place where your 10 does not belong. In the mud, in the woods, in a crazy spot where it just does not belong.

April - Industrial. Go find some old abandoned warehouse or factory and take some cool pics.

May - Burnouts. Do I really need to elaborate? This should be a good month. :burnout:

June - Show trucks. Go out to the shows, show off your trophies.

July - Patriotic. This is a great chance for our Military members to display their 10's on base, and for non-Military to show some American pride. Also, to our members across the world, this is your chance to show us what your country is all about.

August - Racing. Get out to the track and make the pics count.

September - Modifications. Show us some of those before/after pics or maybe something we haven't seen yet.

October - Halloween

November - Paint. Custom paint or quality of paint. Those of you who detail your truck a lot and really make it shine will win this one.

December - TOTY!

The polls will run on the normal times. Take advantage of this and prepare for whatever month you think you have the best shot at. GOOD LUCK!!

The January poll will open shortly after the TOTY is announced.

Love the idea of setting it up for the year, January and March kind of sound the same though. One idea I had was to rep your city/state

January is strictly work related. Only a few members will be able to compete. March is placing your beloved 10 in the mud for a photo kinda deal. Hope that makes sense.

can a person/truck do every month????

Once you win a TOTM, then you cannot run for TOTM again during that year. Reason being is that each month, the pic goes into a calendar and we cant have the same truck twice. Dont let that discourage you though. Im a perfect example. I ran in most of the 2013 TOTM's and never won. So TRY! In other words, yes. You can try until you win.

thanks:rock::rock::rock:

Should be interesting, but with the lack of effort given forth with this crowd we may have some months with only 1 truck running lol..

Dom, you win August, hands down bro!!!!!

Great ideas Chris, whichever one of you two actually came up with them. ;) This means I can compete now!!

Congrats to Scott on his TOTY victory!

After the holidays, the poll for next years first TOTM will open. The theme is "The Workplace". Show your trucks being used to haul or getting dirty on a job site. Since this only really applies to a limited group of people, I will also accept "dirty pics". The dirtier the better. Get to snappin!

CONGRATS SCOTT!!...I have a suggestion....I think it would be cool if the truck of the year winner picked the theme for the month of there choice for the following year...just a thought...

I'm thinking of a way to take a pic for every month. February might be a hard one down in FL.
