idle hangs a little

Mine hangs sometimes at 1200 rpm and it stays like that until i turn the motor off. When i start it again everything is normal... :dontknow:
It started doing this after a tuneup (wires, plugs, coils). Any suggestions?

I blocked off my IAC, and adjusted idle with the throttle blade screw. In very cold weather, it idles low but stays running. At operating temps, it idles at 700. Never hangs, between gears the engine immediately lowers rpms, when showing off and just revving it immediately drops to idle, and throttle response is dramaticly improved. I reccomend it highly, takes 5 minutes to do and 5 minutes to reverse if you decide you do not like it for whatever reason.

Ok, I have been meaning to try to do this for a while, and I have a few questions.

1. Where are you specifically placing the leads (+)(-) on the multimeter to read the voltage

2. How are you adjusting voltage on the TPS?

3. What is the voltage supposed to read? .68 I think I read.

of course - goes to ground. the + goes to the middle wire on the TPS,(Brown/ orange stripe) I THINK!!. I have a nitrous kit and that is where the solenoid gets the WOT signal from the TPS. I would have to go home and check. Just like i mentioned in the post, screw the throttle blades open with the idle adjustment screw so that it doesn't stick. Turn key on and check the voltage at the TPS. It needs to be .68v or less. If it is higher , then you have to remove the TPS and twist the shaft . like the picture. reinstall TPS and check voltage . twist it the right way . disconnect battery so the ECM can relearn the corrected voltage. Don't twist to far !! or the TPS would be able to read throttle position and you will end up with a stumble. Mine still functioned correctly down to .47 volts
