I have a car that makes about 400 to the crank. I have 20x10 rear wheels. Most tires that will fit the wheel are about $400 a piece. I was looking at some UHP's in 295/45/20 that will clear. It's a 30.5" tire. They are about $160/tire. I know it won't be a 200 treadwear beast, but I wanted to know how you guys are liking them as a summer only tire. I can't see spending an extra $500 for a few % more grip unless the Generals really suck. How do you guys like them on the 10's compared to the KDW, which is close to what I currently have on the car. Will it be a huge difference?

The Grabbers are not the best choice for chasing down criminals, IMO :D

I have the grabber UHP's on my 10 and they actually grip pretty decent. I figured they would be a smoke show but have so far surprised me. They were on the truck when I bought it so I can compare them to anything else. They are excellent in the rain also.

The generals are a better tire than the Nittos that everyone here recommend. they have better traction and Steering response was way crisper with the generals. but they dont last that long.

I have nitto 555's right now. Anyway, barring Nomads comment, seems these will work pretty good and be worth the price. Thanks guys.
