48RE Update

Not that it matters but I used same converter for probably 50k miles and it got me in the 11's. Scott simply took my experience with dealing with Rusty and for some reason they had issues with the converter Shorty received. Could of been handled differently by Rusty, but shit happens. Ironpuss just likes opening his piehole, he's the village idiot. :D

If that is true about the water under the bridge Scotty boy I will be the first to tip my hat to you .
But only time will tell .
I think it would have been better for the installer to come on here and say what you just said about TCS .
I know others that have had a bad experience with them on a complete trans they bought from them and it had oem junk in it and was sold as a H.P. tranny .


I gave up the liquor sometime ago Scotty ,and have never been depressed , and Shorty I am in Manvel a couple times a week because a police officer there for Manvel is a friend of mine and we have been working out at a gym in Pearland together ,I has also helped me lose over 45 lbs.,,so when I see you again I will flag you down old man but I don't drink coffee either .


Maybe if we have time we can eat at the little Mexican restaurant over across from the Exxon station in Manvel .They make some great fajita enchiladas.

Eaten there many times but am oh so picky who I eat with and according to your foul mouth, childish posts and general demeanor I prefer to eat a sack lunch on the tail gate of my 10 rather than break bread with you. :chain:

Being you joined in, I found you dealt with Rusty as well in the past and have since moved on. Can you elaborate on your dealings with him and his parts please sir? As Shorty and I have discussed, and why we have given him two chances to make his converter right, I can't see how he's been in business so long with poor business practice and parts quality? Live and learn for sure! :burnout:
 
Guess you shared our experience as well. I'm very impressed with PATC and their facility and faculty is top notch as well. Sun coast hasn't done me right in the past as well but hey it's a 48re too I guess. Lmfao :chain:
 
8 of the ten I have sold came apart, afformentioned vendor said return them, never heard back from customers or vendor

the two that's left..........one is going to be replaced, the other has 500 miles on it

been working with ron wolverton on our valve bodies and vertors, so far, great success

even with there rebuild kits

Patc does a good job also

Wow! Definitely didn't know that or I wouldn't have chosen them. At the time the results from his converters were great. Obviously they are for a few hundred miles, lmfao!
Jeff shouldn't even try to test his and remove it prior to another tranny rebuild due to that converter IMO! His torque will likely send shrapnel through the bell housing!
Thanks for your feedback and yes getting email, text, or phone responses from TCS Rusty is unheard of unless your ordering parts. We should send all of his converters back with a dildo and Vaseline! You game?
