Auto Dimming Mirror

My 10 is my daily driver & every time I start it the rear mirror starts dimming & I have to shut it off. Since I do most or my driving during the day & I am in & out of it a lot, it would be better to have to turn it on than have to turn it off every time. Does anyone know how to switch it around or how to turn it off permanently?

I would get a damp rag and q tip and clean the sensors on back of mirror. It apparently is that or mirror is faulty I'd assume. :dontknow:

unplug it? Should be able to do in the overhead console.

Yup you could unplug from back of mirror as well. :rock:
