I was leaning towards trying the spec but I'm where you're at, $1600-$2000 is a lot of cash to drop on something that is mostly untested with this vehicle.
all clutches will have there failures, I think we understand the speaking of the spec and why ,If you search clutch failure on almost all manufacturers, you will find some kind of failure, 95 out of 100 will be happy but you will only hear from on any social media from the other 5
but all clutch failures are usually related to improper install or not purchasing the correct clutch for the trq you are making, that is where an experienced person comes in to rely on, or contact the manufacturer.
we dropped with centerforce because of customer service, and reliability, time and time again of not supporting the hp they claimed, plus the supposed balance ring that usually would fly apart, we switched to spec, which they so far will go farther with us than about anyone , we recently worked a deal with southbend also, which they are huge in the doosal market, but even they have there failures. So far our specs "we" have installed we have had no failures, from 600hp to well over the 1000 mark.
Mccloed is a super nice clutch, with the right set up , if you truly want the be all of be all, Badboyz has the best out right now, centerforce and a few others are good for very mildy modded rides , that is in my opinion, which here, Im sure the post will get ripped apart, and the opinion will be read into by the ones that matter,
Enjoy and by all means .....keep Rockin the hp
