next summer im looking into a few things, was just wondering if their are many different options for superchargers other then being put on a big waiting list for ROE i am thinking of doing a supercharger, swapping to 4.88's and getting a beefier clutch for starters
i have a 04 sc

I would really like to see what that top mount supercharger that SRT and Arrow Racing are making will actually do for our trucks. :burnout:

If you can spend a few more dollars. See about getting a shop to fab up a single turbo kit. You can make the same or more power safely since the engine doesnt use power to turn the blower.

or spray it for a lot cheaper.

I would have to go with the top mount. You guys with the side mount can't tell me it's easy to change plugs when that S/C is setting on top of them.

I got a doo doo ford truck with a whipple supercharger intake over the ENTIRE driver side of spark plugs. It's easy once you learn what extensions you need.

However, i will say go turbo if you can afford it. It can out perform the roe except for the instant power delivery. But if you are rolling on stock 22's, you wont hook. Therefor a turbo with ramped by gear or mph boost will hook way way better.

I have a modified Roe manifold that will run a Whipple 4.5L setup that will hopefully be done this summer. Will include intercooling and eliminate the shoebox top fed head unit as well.

i couldn't read all the small print on the arrow SC, when is it out and do they have a different pulley for those of us that still have the cast pistons in it???

why on earth would anyone put CAST pistons in a hotrod, KNOWING that people will want to modify it??? Mother Mopar, you F'd this up bad

Yes for those who asked, the truck is alive. I have put a few thousand miles on it this spring. It does need a tune as it is running quite rich on the old Procharger tune, so there is plenty of gains waiting once I get Chris to work his magic on it.

It pulls twice as hard as the Procharger ever did, sounds unreal (5" open exhaust) and I am only running it at 10 psi so far, about 10 psi more to go yet!

I can put it in 5th gear on the highway doing regular ground speeds and slowly push the pedal down, the turbo starts to spool and it takes off like nothing I have felt before. And keep in mind at the same time as the turbo install I went from 4.56:1 to 3.73:1 gears, which makes 6th gear unusable at highway speeds as you can travel at 70 mph at something like 1000 engine RPM.

Like I mentioned, I have had them all and I will NEVER own a belt driven power adder again in my life. I am convinced turbos are the only way to go.
