If your ready to put it on take your bumper cover off and see what lengths you need .
working on the motivation. Only had the hitch for 2 years now
I wasn't sure if I needed the ones with the tabs that you have to fish inside the frame. Did that on an old car.. it sucked.
Any tips on getting the bumper cover off?
You have to remove the cladding from behind both tires and the black plastic pieces on the top (be careful with those) There is also some small pieces of velcro on the ends of the bumper cover that stick to the side cladding.

Maybe painters tape bed sides for less risk?

That's what I did when I hitched up the wife's durango with the Mopar hitch. Sure enough it smacked and would have scratched.never tried it but sounds like a good idea to me.
