Center caps

Left is really labor intense, may take 3 passes to get it the way I want it

Right is the slop and wipe slowly, may take 6 passes to get it right

No this isn't the final product, this is the 1st pass

The left one is way better then I could do. Who am I kidding? They are both way better then I could do.

tried that, no pin striper in town would touch it, they say the grooves are too shallow . what other professional would you be talking about?? and remember this is about center caps not trannys………..:D

i have a new pic on my phone, i may be getting better or having ore patience or both…….. I'm sure you guys will let me know the difference

Other professionals? Are you counting yourself in? :dontknow:

Hey man. The right way to do this is do not let the paint dry. Use a fresh blade and wipe off the paint slowly and carefully. Let it dry. Then come back with some paint thinner just for final clean up. Just trying to help you out. But what do i know.

you said give it to a professional, i consider pin strippers to be professional at this type of thing, and i already tried them, so i was asking what other professionals you might have been referring to so i could look into it

thanks for the input.

this stuff dries REALLY fast so I'm guessing that i need to do very short sections. the black is powdercoat so I'm hoping not to scratch it up. when you say blade, you just mean a flat edge or more like razor blade?
