I know that 154 and change set the speed record for our trucks. I was wondering if anyone has gone about improving on it. Anyone have any input on getting one of the trucks up to 200 plus.

192 in a standing mile, changing 5th and 6th gear was key. Tape all of your body seems above 180, and ditch the wing. I think mine would do 200 with enough road.
What kind of power are you making to hit those speeds?
I am not for a second saying it would be easy.
Drag Coefficient : 0.43
Frontal Area : 34.6 sq ft
Weight 5100
But 6 th gear is .50 a set of 4.10 for the rear. Then there would just be the small matter of a 1200+ hp twin turbo engine. Maybe just maybe it would be possible.
.5 is to tall your going to have to change it, if not you will repeatedly break input shafts. You end up with awesome clutch alignment tools but it gets old fast. Your next issue is tires, you not going to find anything properly rated for our combination of weight and speed.
When will you be going back to the track?I will trap over 200 in the 1/4 mile
Best to date is 183 in the 1/4 mile
There was a member building a truck specifically for the 200mph mark but apparently he lost interest in it.
So I would need north of 1500 hp, a regeared trans, and tires that are as common as unicorns.
