Agree with this. I have an 05 QC and that's what I was told by a few of the vendors05 QC engine ? Then it should be the hole to tighten the bolts for the flexplate.

Check your valve cover bolts. Mine looked like that and when I checked the bolts, 75 percent of them were loose on both coversDamn, he beat me to it! Went during my lunch break and crawled under the truck and took a couple pics. Even though seethrough's pic is nicer, I'm gonna post mine so it wasn't a waste.:rofl:
Noticed a little oil coming out of mine. Might need a new one.

I would definitely check out the back of the valve covers before pulling the transmission for a rear main seal.
Yeah, mine stopped making all of that mess after I changed the valve cover gaskets and tightened those bolts. I was shocked that a couple were less than finger tight.I will definitely check those bolts first as that is something I can actually do myself. From the picture, and from what I saw, it does seem to be coming from the back of the valve cover. Hopefully that's the same oil that is all the way down under the tranny, on that bottom cover.![]()
