2005 Ram SRT 10 engine

I'm looking for a (new?) engine for my 05 truck. Mine is unrepairable unfortunately :'(
If someone knows where I can get one or has one for sale, please contact me asap! It's been a few months without my truck now, so really missing it!

Scott at X2 builders should be able to help you they have several motors sitting around.

Checked with X2 they got 5 in stock some come with the tranny. They may also help with freight shipping to you as well.

Ok, thanks guys! I will see with my dad what’s best. Are the engines at X2 rebuilt? I wanna be sure the oil pump is okay, if not I’ll have the same problem in a few months/years...

You might also keep in mind that the crank trigger is different between 2004 and the 05-06 engines. On the 04 it's on the back of the flywheel, on the 05-06 it's on the crank about mid way. The PCM is specific to those. The mounting points for the trigger sensor are as well.


Moral of the story is get the right year model short block if you want plug-and-play.

X2 probably has the largest supply of anything for these trucks .. trucks that have been wrecked ...

I might have X2 beat. I have a 61k mile 05 engine that's good and i'm also selling my personal forged 510 engine with 40k miles as well. PM me.
I think I have 12 engines right now...
