Who was it that had a custom steering wheel installed? Couple of questions, what company makes them, and does all the wiring and airbag mount up without any issues? Included in the wiring is the stereo controls, cruise, etc.

The grant products steering wheels bolt up like factory and everything works. I don’t know about the other ones. I’ll post some pictures of the grants ones.

BWAAAAHHH! I wish I had that kind of money to spend on others. Since they cut out all overtime, my truck money has diminished.:(

I apologize for the late reply, but here are some pictures of the stock steering wheels vs the Grant Products steering wheel that I posted last year.

That really looks nice as well, and much thicker than factory. You said "Grant" makes those or do you have to send the original wheel? what did it cost ya?

Big difference for sure! Say, I noticed you have a double DIN stereo receiver. What brand, where did you get the larger open bezel, and will it work with the stock amp under the center console? Sorry for all the questions, my truck has a crappy old Kenwood single DIN that a previous owner installed years ago, and I want to upgrade.

Correct Grant Products make them, they’re about $220. After you purchase it, you can send your stock one in for a core and they’ll reimburse you about $20. But you don’t have to send your core if you don’t want to.

No worries, not my truck but it’s a Pioneer head unit. If you have the correct adapters it should work with everything else, PAC sells some really good adapters that works with the factory subs/speakers/amps. As far as the bezel, eBay has them (don’t know the price but shouldn’t be more than $100). You also get to choose the colors, which is nice.

No prob with questions. That was the truck i totaled but it's just the factory DIN and a half stereo.
That's your truck upside down? There's a video on youtube of a guy doing a burnout in a red RC. He lost control and went into a ditch and flipped upside down. That wouldn't be you, would it? Hope you didn't get injured very badly!
