Rear Slider Window Leaking

Hello everyone. Anyone have any experience with the slider leaking on the rear window? I have a 2005 RC. Called the dealership thinking it might be an easy gasket replacement. Nope says the dealership. Have to replace the whole window at an $1100 price tag not including installation. Wondering if there’s a more cost effective fix. Thanks in advance!
