In my experience ? factory trans coolers are barely adequate for the job , anything with a higher GVW then the stock one would be better . when it comes to trans oil temps cooler is better then hot . heat kills auto trans .

And once again the rebuild is on hold. Car rental with deposit is almost $900 for five days. Buddy offered me his car, but it needed a spare key. Dealer item only, and over $300, so that's a wash. Stopped at Uhaul, Dodge Ram RC is $19.99 a day, so that's the route I'm gonna go, just need to get it reserved, hopefully for next Monday. Seems like the Viper Gods don't want me to get the tranny rebuilt for some reason.

LOL, yeah, I'm not nor ever have been a quitter. Raised my kids to be the same way, and it shows in their livelihoods. With the postponement, it just lets me gain a little extra cheddar to add more things in the tranny.
