Panic Button

So recently I've experienced my panic button activating without me touching the button on the key FOB. I use the FOB to unlock the doors, but when I physically open the door, the damn horn starts blaring. Not only is it embarrassing in public, it wakes up neighbors at 0500 in the morning. My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Could it be just a matter of changing the battery in the FOB, or something else. Feedback is welcomed.

I would start with the battery, also give you the opportunity to inspect inside the fob for water or corrosion, the seal isn’t always perfect

So I replaced the battery last week. So far I haven't woke any neighbors...
