My new dilemma .. I dug out my truck cover I bout years ago . I had stopped using it back then due to the wind flapping it some and was scuffing the truck paint in a couple areas .. freaking ticked me off after paying over $300 for it from a well known company. It was made for the 10 QC .
Since the paint is shot now I decided to put it on to help keep the Florida hell hole sun from any more damage to the paint and the dash cover etc .
We got a huge down pour yesterday and they are calling for rain the rest of the week .. I had also forgotten about the other problem with the cover .. when it rains the part over top of the bed sinks down with the rain filling the bed with water .. instant bathtub or kiddie pool hahaha ! See the pick and that’s after I drained the water when the rain lightened to a sprinkle..
if it fills enough it will pull the cover up ..
I’m looking for ideas that will keep it from filling up without cutting holes in the cover .
I know adding a bed cover would do the trick but that expense is not in the financial realm at this time . I would like to get the Mopar aluminum cover at some point but that may not be feasible if one can be found later ..
So any ideas that would help me figure out a cure to avoid my truck from becoming a pool ??
