Man, I finally (almost) given up about a normal 2005 QC rear leaf spring location, when it left the factory (i.e. factory installed).

I read, and re-read what everyone wrote, and I’m still confused. It still seems like there are two different views.

To give it one last try, to help this rookie (me) understand, which of these is correct:
A. On a 2005 QC, the factory installed leaf spring sits/mounted on top of the rear end.
B. On a 2005 QC, the factory installed leaf spring is mounted below the rear end.

My take is the QC springs are mounted on top of the axle like a normal truck.

Only the Regular cab has the springs mounted under the axle - a flip.

I think the term rear end is what's confusing.

NEVR DULL - it will keep you busy at least!! Hahahaha

There's no way to avoid that on a driven vehicle - that I could think of anyways! Unless you're ANAL and wash the undercarriage after every drive

Out west they get like that too but with an added caked on layer of powdered dust! That's a real joy to get off hahahaha!

That may just be the next move lol And a coat of paint
