They are an assist to the lowered ride, I can pump 90psi in them if I want to tow, and yes what a difference, it stopped it hitting bump stops on rough roads.Do these raise it or smoorh out the ride? Excuse my ignorance

Amazing difference for less than $400.00, if you have a flip kit installed a must.

That setup is great, installed one myself! Since they are such low volume, I considered buying a compact mechanical bicycle pump in case I need to add more to tow/manage extra payload while I'm out.
Actually, here in the future, we can even upgrade to something like these little electronic guys if we're out on the fly and have a little time:
Takes a whole few seconds to fill each side with a full size air compressor.
Cool idea putting the valves next to the fuel filler. I was going to mount mine in the hitch, but someone convinced me to put them out in the open in the bumper.

Great idea! Both very nice!
We use to put the air shock lines out the back and connected to a T air stem and stick it through a dole in the license plate .. easy to add ai if needed and couldn’t be noted Fed unless you new what to look for ..
I have a train horn set up, that would be easy to do. But for now it works mate.
