My thoughts are funds ... physical you get hit on both buy and sell and the main question is from whom ? Also what carrot are you actually going to get ?.. Lots of BS scamming IMO involved with Gold and Silver .. just look at jewelry sold at most jewelry stores .. Over priced and 10 carrot or cheap ask thin plated .. Ads have become so common online to own physical metal , gold and silver from who the hell knows is insane !

If you want to buy the real or good stuff buy it from the US mint in the way of Proof or uncirculated coins or bars ... those coins are dollectibles also and will carry more value down down the road .. get the S mint marks their value is already higher and more rare ..


If all else fails steal cataylitic convertors for,their Platinum hahahaha

Aluminum and copper for scrap is going up
 
Remember in todays world you cant just walk in a grocery store and shave off some gold dust to pay with lol

Most will,go to cut throat pawn shops to sell ...
 
Also gold 3346.50 now ... pretty damn high and how much can you buy ? Could drop and stay in the range for a long time .. how much will it need to go up to cover the commissions and fees that will happen on the buy and sell side based on SPOT ?

I know someone who bought lots of silver back in the 80s or whenever it was around 50 an oz - maybe someday they will break even :eek:
 
When we were in Aussie I used to follow the mines and played a bit on the fringes. Highly speculative, won some lost some. In the long run better to put dollars into a managed fund. No fun in that tho.
 
Yeah I'm not sold on the physical metals thing, they have ads constantly to sell the stuff but of course they make money on both sides - I like the boring methods Best !
 
I've learned SO MUCH on this thread over the years it's been a course in the markets! Great info and VIPR PWR has shared so much knowledge.
