OK... JMB Catless mids and the 0420 code. I know Torrie can make sure that code goes away but I want to add 'bungs' to them so that if I put the stock tune back on I won't see the cel.

Can someone point me to the actual item I need to buy. I know it has been discussed a bizillion times but I am a tard and need a link with a buy it now option so I don't f' it up.

Here is what the rear passenger side looks like.

Ohh. how many will I need (all 4??) and does having a a/f gauge make a difference?

Get some 14mm spark plug anti foulers. Long ones. Drill the center out to 1/2 inch. Thread O2 sensor into anti fouler then thread assy into the exhaust.
That should solve your problem.
420 is cat inefficiency code= gasses flowing thru cat to fast (I assume).
I've done the anti foulers on my truck and every winter I'll get the code come up when temps are cool and gas stations have switched over to Ethanol mix

i have a Torrie tune and i can't get rid of the code at all....keeps coming back!

I have never had mine come on in over 2 years now. I have antifoulers also

so you do this for the front sensors right? one pack for each side and we should be good?

I believe you install the antifoulers on both rear o2's only. The front set of o2's remain as is -- they control engine/fuel function.

This is correct! The rears only tell the PCM of Cat effiecency and condition. DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE FRONTS!! Any fouler or simulator could prove hazzardous to your engine!:dontknow:

These are exactly what I was looking for. I did it today and it could not have been easier!

Code is gone but I will have to wait a little while to see if it comes back.

I appreciate it!
