where are you located? Thanks for the replies everyone. SOunds like it will be a reliable truck. Im a GM fan but i need something fast again. I had a fast diesel and when diesel got to 4+ a gallon i let it go.

he told me he had heard it was common, maybe not. basically it grinds shifting into second, truck only has about 20k or so on it.

My friends stock truck is hard to get into second even normally. What is the cause of that? AMTRUCKER - i know its modded and is probably a great price but its out of my price range

As some of you may have seen, im looking to get a RC with 6 speed. Are there any consistent problems i should look for or be worried about when buying one? I know the transmission is a weak link at some point.

i know about 2nd gear, my friend trashed his already. just out of curiosity, why do you think 4.10's suck? seems that there is more than enough power to run 4.10's and the mileage would be better. or am i wrong? i do know that my friends truck (not sure what year) does like to stay in lower...

silver is a "pretty" color dont get me wrong. just dont want to have the same thing my friend has. :)
