Well here is a little update. We worked on it today. It threw a code for the crank sensor and 02 sensor. Went under truck and checked the connections, pushed them as tight as we could and started it again. Lugged and stalled out again, but threw a cam sensor code. It is like the computer can't...

We tried taking out of the loop and it was still acting up. It seems like all signs point to the Cam position sensor. I will check that tomorrow. I did let the negitive terminal for 30 min but not the ecm. Where is the ecm (again, newb to DCX). Is it on the firewall on the pass side right behind...

Thats what we are thinking and why Roe is getting a call first thing in the morning. If worst does come to worst, Roe is about 1 to 1 and half hours north of here and we can tow it, but that is a last ditch effort.

I will check the cam position sensor again. I will also find out what Roe thinks.

Ya, it starts gives a few compression strokes and then stalls. It is acting the same way my GTO did after I fired it up after the cam install but before the tune. Some other symptoms: -It stalls, but the tac shoots to ~4,000 rpm, but the truck is not reving, just acting like it has a huge cam...

ok we got a new code after we cleared the codes with an auto tap. its p0340 which is a cam position sensor does anyone know where the cam sensor is? or have any ideas?
