I saw that one today on CL. But the add there said 170K miles. Someone was putting about 24k miles per year on it. That's insane!! I bet there aren't any Ferrari or Lamborghini engines out there with mileage like that.
Last month she was way low on coolant and tried to over heat. Took her to shop for a block test. Checked good. They could not find a leak anywhere. Now she is back in the shop for the same thing. Again no leaks. No coolant out the exhaust. None in the oil. Where is it going? Any ideas?
Technology does advance, but NHRA restricts it pretty bad.
G-suits would help, but can they handle only 9gs? From what I have read, 8gs are pulled by half track.
They all ready had to drop it from 1/4 mile to 1000'. Engines are hitting 10,000hp. The drivers experience over 4g's. something has to give soon. At some point a max will have to be hit. Either what the human body can endure or maximum acceleration of current designs. Any thoughts?
