What are you guys using to heat shield your clutch hydraulic lines? Are you buying wrap or a plastic shield or something from an online vendor? I'm going to be replacing the fluid in the stock clutch as its turning black, and wanted to heat shield the lines while I was doing it. How many...

Didn't want to start disconnecting lines last night, so I ended up siphoning it out (and don't ask me how :mad: ) I went through about 2 1/2 quarts. Siphon, fill ATF+4, run, turn steering to extremes a few times, stop, Siphon, fill, etc. It smells nice and putrid now. :D EDIT: It was at carmax.

The fastman (aka Dan Arcand) is well known in the Dakota/magnum engine world. His Throttle Body mods are top notch. I used to have one of his TB's for the V6 3.9L in my old dakota. I'm a bit surprised he's never done viper TB's before though.

Hiya folks, I just bought a 2005 RC and came across this thread searching for initial bolt-on threads (go figure). Truck has 6800 miles and only one previous owner. I traded in a 2003 Dakota R/T. I read through the whole thing and needless to say I am becoming hesitant to mod this engine...
