NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Based on your own numbers lol:

The trans (4.71 1st gear) & diff gearing (3.92) heavily favors launch and acceleration, however I think they may be under rating the engine output. 11.6 is the "official" number but there has been no timeslip nor video at a track posted as of yet.
Hmmmm..not sure what you mean.
Trucks don't squarely fit into the box because of the air they push. Add to that, there are calculators out there that are punishing and those that seem optimistic.
Compare Wallace Racing with RobRobinette, for example. According to Wallace, my own truck would run 11.20s (that would be nice!!) I don't use the Wallace calculator for that reason. Many other vehicles (cars and trucks) generate the same optimistic results, using Wallace.

Regardless, adding 4 or 500 hundred pounds for the calculation normally brings the trucks closer to reality.

What are you trying to figure out?

The video results were similar to a motorcycle I had for a short time..
A loud noise out the exhaust without the side affect of acceleration.

Anyway, it takes more than their planned 777 horsepower for a 6400 pounder (with Driver) to run 11.60s
I'm sure they will have it all sorted out prior to delivery and it will be a lot of fun!!
No doubt it will be fun … bit reminded me of the rat racing rice burner car with a fart muffler .. You hear it scream and it’s only move 10 feet .. Sort of like some Mustangs I’ve seen around here with after market exhaust lol

There will never be another 10 try as they may

In a truck absolutely not lol. A supercharged V8 gets the job done with more power plus mileage that's still in the double digits not to mention cheaper to build than a low production one off engine. Now an actual Viper, with a proper 72° V10 with hemi heads (like they were prototyping before the Viper was killed) that would likely have north of 700 hp NA? Yes please.

How come such low output. I got a BMW X3 2l diesel with 210hp. I think that motor should be a minimum of 950hp maybe even a 1000hp

North of 700 NA is low lol? The last iteration of the 8.4 V10 was about 650 hp NA.

No one bats an eyelid at 700hp now. At a car show now people just walk past going oh yeah. It has changed real fast here. The jap shitters are north of 1000hp now. Fizz pop cars. We have a lot of very powerful cars.....with the worst roads hahaha

I can see why since so many are putting out over 600 easy from the factory

But how many of those are naturally aspirated? And how many are actually streetable; actual street manners, not "it has 4 tires so technically I can drive it on the street" lol?
700+ NA hp with manners is damn good, especially when it's in a car that only weighs 3400 lbs.

Given the NA factor I agree otherwise nahhhh

You can make 4 digits all day with enough boost or displacement (but it take a prohibitive amount of displacement to do it). Now imagine a hemi headed, smooth firing 76° V10.....with boost.

Obviously the kid wants one for Christmas hahahaha
I want to see it happen, not so much want one or could ever afford one. Through the years, even as advanced and powerful as it got, ultimately the V10 (all versions) was the child of an LA360. I think a clean sheet design with those features would be amazing. I would read that engineering report with interest just like I did the original back in 1992.

What the kid wants (only get to call me that if you're in your 70's lol) is an SRT Rumble Bee NOT in yellow.
