I the only one who has driven my truck since I bought it new off the floor. It going to stay that way.
 
some of us here in Colorado got these letters. work was to be performed by Rousch Performance,(yes, that Rousch) Rousch has a test center in Aurora, Co. Decide NOT to let them play as only emission components were covered.
 
dont make sense.... y cant they take a viper motor.. slap 4 cats on it n do tests on that if its chrysler.... sounds like a scam
 
and one more thing.... that makes it sound like a scam.... ROUSH IS A F*CKING FORD TUNER... THEY DONT MAKE ANY DAMN MOPAR PARTS!!!!!! NOT A SINGLE ONE AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED DONT DO IT... IF EPA COMES TO YOUR DOOR, THEN ID BELIEVE IT BUT SOME1 OFFERING YOU 500 FOR YOUR TRUCK FOR 5 DAYS.. HAH.. Y CANT U DRIVE IT TO THEM AND WATCH THEM PERFORM EMMISSIONS CHECK???? ISNT THAT WHAT SMOG CHECKS ARE FOR... CANT THEY LOOK AT THOSE RESULTS????

I agree. Does anyone who buys a 500hp v-10 really give a crap about emmisions? If they contact me I will tell them to go to hell! There are much larger pollution producers out there other than a handful of these trucks.
 
I got a letter like that for my SRT-4. I don't have that anymore so I just tossed the letter.

Don't believe that for a second as a "just". Roush has been involved with Vipers since the beginning. There was even consideration of a "Rousch" Viper series. One of the Roush proposals was on display at one of the VOI's I attended. Who would have guessed that Saleen, another Ford tuner, would end up as a major player in Viper construction?
