My SRT-10 Experience as DD Winter vehicle [Chicago]

Just saw on the news tonight on how the brutal winter is really taking a toll on the Chicago roads. They said that the pot holes were really showing up this winter. Roads like that must be brutal in an SRT-10 since their suspensions are so stiff. More power to you bro.

    the shifter comparooooo

I went to the Gen IV, and now have the Gen X. I played around with a pistol grip handle with the Gen IV but the twisting action with a pistol grip made shifting harder. With the Gen X and back to a shifter ball, shifts are fool proof. You have to let the shifter do the work, and you can...

    Failed Emissions Today

Passed emissions today. After about 110 miles of driving, all the PCM monitors showed READY. I believe I must have disconnected the battery when I installed the Gen X shifter to keep the interior lights off, just didn't remember.:dontknow: When I got back from passing, I pulled the No.51...

    Failed Emissions Today

    1. It's not really a fuse. It's a circuit breaker that can be reset. Just pull up to kill the light, then push down to reset. I've been doing this for two years with no problems, but this is the first year emissions are required. 2. It's easier pulling the CB (circiut breaker).:D

    Failed Emissions Today

Update - Drove it about 40 miles and went back. He connected to the OBD II and looked at the PCM. Originally there were 4 or 5 items that said NOT READY, now there are only 2. I'll put a few more miles on it and give it another try.
