    My Off Roader

Off road need seat, center float, extended bowl vents all will help a great deal on the Holley, I did all that on mine but it was still not perfect for off road. With the Predator you can mount it any direction you want so basically it will work good in any direction but could posibly be a...

    My Off Roader

It is a learning curve carb, some people really hate them. The nick name in our little group is the "Toilet Bowl" carb, cause you basically flush em and watch the fuel go down! But when tuned right they are really pretty good, and their isn't much to tune. Power wise I think maybe I am leaving a...

    Dyno results are in.....

I can see where spyders could be an issue. Don't want to derail this thread so go here for some pictures - http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/f60/my-off-roader-54673/#post1124472 I wish I could bring my self to mod the SRT, just really have a desire to keep it stock and in one piece though.

You never saw me wheelin then :p All I am saying is I have a 450hp (probably a little more) 440 with 5.86 gears and 40" tall tires. Running 38" tires and 4.88's the 30 spline 60 was fine. After going to 40" more agressive tires I had to jump to a Dana 70 with 35 spline. Also with and ARB...

What do you consider the weak part of the Dana 60 in these. Just wondering because I have beat the crap out of a few Dana 60's in my day off road and they are pretty built proof. I am guessing these use the same 30 spline axles as the original truck rear ends did.

I am in WI and have my original one, have a Mopar one in now. But the PCM's are flashed with the VIN I think so don't know that it would even work. But sounds like you got it handled.

First check the clutch fluid like every one said, cheap and easy to try. From their I would guess bad syncs in the tranny.

    quarter mile time

Possible, I did my runs with the stock shifter that everyone complained about but I never had an issue with it. I do have a B&M shifter now and is does seem a little quicker but I didn't see a huge difference, have never run at the track with it. It is alot noiser then the stock shifter though :(

    quarter mile time

Something seems a little off, with that 60' you should be faster, maybe it is the gears. With Mopar Long Tubes, Mopar Exhaust, and Cold Air Intake I ran a 12.771 with a 1.974 60' time on stock tires full weight. So based on your lower 60' times you should be faster. I don't POWER shift...

Yea that is why I didn't want to go with a crate motor and had an engine shop build me one from scratch, a little better quality control I think. Selling you car is one thing, but to sell it out of country :dontknow: Must have been a hard to refuse price
