Um, I inhaled sharply when I read you heard a crack. I replaced mine a while back, and was strongly warned about that possibility. You might seriously consider pulling the timing cover to get that material out.:( .

Have any of you tried changing the torque on the mounting screws? I was able to get my X-Vendor TB to hang by just a little too much torque on one corner.;) FWIW, I have had zero problems with mine, cold or hot. .

I've actually, finally made it out the last two Fridays for T&T sessions at the local strip. First day out was just to get the feel for the truck, and ran on street tires. Silly me. Really didn't hook until 4th gear. Still, a trap speed of 115mph with a 13.4 ET showed plenty of potential. ;)...

There isn't much in the way of lag on a turbo at the strip, presuming that you're launching at mid to upper RPM's. That spools the turbo up before launch, and allows the boost to come on almost instantly on a well designed system.;) .

Yes there were. I have the 900+hp Procharged RC, and Tinygiants has a 700+hp Roe supercharged QC. I was running all of mid 13's on stock wheels & tires, but trapping at 115mph. I'll be running slicks & skinnies next time out.;) So long as I can find 3rd consistently, I should be working...
