Uh, yeah. Notice my 14.9 ET with a trap of 112mph vs. Dale's 12.1ET with a 117mph trap. Even with me missing third gear, you can guess what kind of time I lost to tire smoke.;)
If I get the truck to hook well and make my shifts, it should lay down some respectable numbers.
Both...
In case you were wondering who that was next to Dale, that was me trying (and failing) to run my truck on factory tires. Just for fun, I missed third on this run as well. Best I managed yesterday was about a 13.4, leaving just above an idle. Wheel spin was terrible up to (and including) 4th...
Definitely interested to see if there's more that can be squeezed out of the Roe. I'm wondering if there's much more left to be had. Between increased belt slip and the additional heat generated by spinning the compressor even faster, it may not yield much more of a gain.
Still, hoping you...
Plenty of stupid people out there for terrorist groups to choose from. Hell, some of them come from the US.
Not much, anyway. The simulation done showed it would likely have killed the bomber and whoever was next to him, but it would not have prevented the plane from landing safely...
PM Tinygiants. He custom machined a throttle body plate himself for his, but I don't think he's going to use it. Might be able to get it for a reasonable price.;)
.
Still have mine. ;)
There was a "market adjustment" price of $74,000.00. :aetsch:
Paid 52 for her new. Could have bought at least two more used for what the cost of mods in it too!:p
.
I saw another Roe'd machine with very similar numbers as well. A little lower on torque, but very close on HP.
This may well be the top end that this compressor's capable of.
Just have to nitrous up from there!

Without parts delays, John Edwards can turn them around pretty quickly. He uses Arrow Racing for machine work, and their turnaround time has been quite good. The engines are holding together quite nicely too, I might add.;)
.
I too had belt dust and my belt loosened, even with the cog belt drive. These things will always happen whether you have belt slip or not.
When you say that you had less drop after a few runs, you don't mention if you're hitting the same peak boost. Also, it would be helpful to know how...
If only the economy and Chrysler weren't quite so far in the shitter, and there was someone at the helm with some vision, eh?
The SRT-8's are plenty quick. Ran one today on the freeway, and he gladly showed me some bumper. Too bad I was in my '86 635csi with 300k on the clock. :D Still, I...
You might not be so quick to assume that you're having belt slippage, you know. As RPMs climb, that compressor has to produce an ever increasing volume of air. A drop in pressure could well be indicative of hitting the ceiling on the Roe.
My first encounter on the dyno with the Paxton had...
If you do opt for a standalone system for fuel enrichment, it would be a good idea to run unleaded race gas. Leaded fuel will eventually ruin the factory O2 sensors. Unless you're running a really big kit, you probably won't see much benefit (if any) with race gas over 91/92 octane fuel anyway.
Hennessey also turns out some cool high-powered shit on occasion, but I still wouldn't trust him any further than his balls would fly given the chance to kick them.;)
Glad you like him.
Personally, I paid him for a triple in-tank pump that came with all three pumps wired backwards...
