I have seen 1-2 around the base here in Norfolk. There is a fake one on base also. Every now and then I will see one in Chesapeake. After I pick my up from Stinkers on Saturday there will be one more added to the mix.
The times we rented the track were very early spring and late fall. Low DA and low temp equaled some great times. I think it cost about $1500-2000 to rent the track. We did 20 trucks/cars at $75 a pop for all day racing. I think I ran 25 times on the first rental. The ford guys were great...
If I had my truck back and no plans I would think about it. Little bit of a drive for me. Last time I was there the Local L's guys rented the track and we all drove up together. Hoping to get the truck in a few weeks.
My stage 2 flash got me into the high 12's on street tires. Some flashes are more aggressive than others. Best would be to get it tuned on the dyno. The other issue is 60 times. I was cutting 1.8's on the stock tires. If you are getting 2.2's then you will be mid 13's.

Well it has been awhile since I have been on the site. New job on the Admiral staff has been keeping me busy. Truck is currently at Stinkers getting a new build. Rod let go back in February and put 2 holes in the block. Bought a Jeep Wrangler to drive in the meantime. Looking forward to...
The stage flashes were before the SCT. It was an out of the box tune. Stage 2 was more aggressive then stage 1. A dyno tune with the SCT is much a better route.
