    QC Rear Sway Bar Install

I have posted on a few other threads but no response. Has anyone installed a Rear Sway Bar on an 05-06 SRT10 QC and it bolted up and was functional? I see that Hotchkis, Adco, and Helwig all make rear sway bars for 05-06 QC but they don't specifically list the SRT10. I called all three sway...

Mopar Bed Rug... Anyone installed yet?

Question...do you have to remove the OEM SRT10 bedliner or does it stay in the bed and the bed rug lay over the top of it? Is the back side of the bed rug very rough and coarse where it will scratch/scuff the bed over time or is it failry smooth and a non issue? Thanks!

    Lowering kit for rear

I have a post on another thread asking if anyone here on VTCOA has ever installed a rear sway bar on a 05-06 QC? I called Hotchkis, Adco, and Helwig and they all told me that "TECHNICALLY" they don't have a rear sway bar that will fit an 05-06 QC SRT10. I was going to just pick one, order it...

Synthetic Oils - Some clarification please

I don't have my owners manual in front of me that discusses the warranty but if I remember correctly the warranty for oil discusses that the proper oil has to be synthetic with the SAE and API/ILSAC specs. After looking on the Royal Purple website there racing oils do not conform the SAE and...

    Lowering kit for rear

Thanks for the pics and I hear you about the file being too big. Don't stress...if you feel like messing with it tommorrow you can get set up on photobucket. Cool thing about photobucket is that after you load pics on there website off your computer it automatically resizes them when you want...

    Lowering kit for rear

Thanks for the pic...I assume that is with the 1" Bell Tech lowering shackles installed correct? If you have a pic showing the whole truck front and rear in one shot that would be great. Just wanting to see if it the truck sits about level or does it now sit slightly lower in the rear compared...

    Lowering kit for rear

If you do a search I think there is a thread on the forum on how to do it. I went to www.photobucket.com and created a free account. Once you open up the photobucket account, you can load your pics there from your PC and then copy them from photobucket and paste them inside the thread and the...

    Lowering kit for rear

    Lowering kit for rear

Just 2" in the rear and stock heigth in the front? Either way that looks great! Thanks!

    Lowering kit for rear

Yes...just trying to get it level and that would be fine. I will be towing soon and just don't want any issues with the truck being too low so I am not going to go with a 2/4. Before this truck I got out of a Silverado 2500 HD that stock was very tall so an SRT10 to me at stock heigth feels...

    Lowering kit for rear

I just called Bell Tech and they said their Bell Tech 1500 shackles would fit the SRT10. They told me there shackles drop the rear end closer to 1.25" in the rear. The tech stated it would not change the rear spring rate or load capacity for towing etc. For $70 I may just go ahead and buy a...

    Lowering kit for rear

I have a 2006 QC SRT10 and I am considering a 1" drop because I may tow a boat in the future and don't want it too low and then the boat drop it down too low for towing. My question is in the past on other trucks I went with 2" or 3" drop shackles and it did lower the truck down but it...

Hellwig Rear Sway bars on Quad cab

I think the SRT10 axle is larger because I have heard others refer to it is a Dana 60 Super HD if I got it right. I just checked out Helwigs site and the Hotchkis site as well. It does look like the Helwig does not have to drill but it goes out toward the rear and may cause problems with the...

Hellwig Rear Sway bars on Quad cab

Got it...thanks for the info. I need to go look at the spare on my truck but I think other have said it is a 20" spare on the SRT10's. Did you have to drill any holes on your frame for the sway bar to fit? Thanks!
