As I understand it, none of the SRT vehicles come with the 7/70 powertrain warranty, just the 3/36 on the powertrain. I believe that an extended warranty purchased separately can be used to cover the powertrain though.
My results are similar to most others it seems. My '06 quad cab gets 9.5 or 10 around town and about 12-14 on the highway. My last truck was an '03 Dodge quad cab with the 5.7 hemi and it got about 11 in around town driving (although it did significantly better than the SRT on the highway), so...
Your truck was kinda what made me make the comment in the previous post. I bet you would be doing much better in the poll if you had a nicer photo because that's a really nice lookin' truck. I've seen some underhood shots of your truck, (you have the flat black intake and valve covers right?)...
I had the same idea for the boot protectors, in fact I'm just getting ready to buy some from Summit.

They sell them in sets of 8 and by the pair. Anyone else gone this route? pics? I hope this isn't thread...
That is the coolest idea I've seen in a long time. Let's see, billet mill engraved viper emblems, billet throttle body plate for fogger nitrous system, billet centercaps for wheels, shifter knob with viper logo milled in it...and on and on. Anyone else have any cool ideas for custom machined...
I'd like to see some better photos of the trucks that aren't doing as well in the poll. They all look like great trucks, but it's hard to separate judging the quality/look of the truck from the quality of the photo. Anyone else with me on this or am I full of it?:dontknow:
If you are talking about the rubber trim that surrounds the lower edge of the headlight, yes, my '06 seems to have the same problem on the driver's side. The trim seems to fit too loosely and kinda folds inward. I've tried to bring it back into position and it stays for a short time and then...

Just curious, has anyone ever run the "Champion Truck Plug" series of plugs? They are Part Number 4412 for our trucks and are a standard copper plug with a thicker/heavier duty electrode (black and gold colored on the outside).:dontknow...
Thanks for the update. Good luck with the install and don't forget that this is for fun:) . Oh, and remember to take safety precautions when working around coil springs--they can hurt yah! Be safe and enjoy:D .
FastRam, it seems that there is an Italian car manufacturer that has taken the idea of the P34 and made a street car--imagine the looks you'd get driving this thing around:D :

Looks like you're havin' fun. Nice bark in 2nd gear, is that a result of the tune upgrade (we know it can't be because of the color because we all know that black is the fastest color)? My '06 QC won't catch 2nd like that. Maybe I need to adjust the shift cable or adjust the bands. Anyway...
I've been trying to visualize what the '08 Viper hood vents would look like on my '06 NRunner. Has anyone ever seen an aftermarket hood like this? Perhaps someone with some Photoshop know how could do a rendering? I think this style of hood would look really wicked and maybe if there is...
