Car dipsticks are totally different.
I’ve also had two kinds of dipsticks in trucks - flat bar, and braided steel with a lead bullet on the end.
I usually end up about 9qt or so...
unless you have helper bags on your truck, i wouldn't - and that says a lot for me to say that lol.
your truck is slammed. that's the ONLY reason i wouldn't do it.

Push rod V10 - no big deal.
I just put a motor in my truck at 112k and all I needed was a valve job.
My last truck had 116k on it and didn’t leak a drop of fluid.
