i have noticed this on some truck with rear leafs. it just seems one leaf is just sagging. only suggestion i can say is have your leafs resprung. maybe that will help. good luck

your CAI will get more air if you remove it but your radiator will get less air flow. your CAI with the shield is still getting plenty of air.....i say leave it.
