If your truck isn't lowered, you don't even need the jack. I could slither under my RC and change the oil sitting in the driveway. You can get the oil at walmart for $50-$55 and filter at the dealership for $6-$8.

As said before, shame on you for going back to them. However, it definitely sounds like an inside job. Manager or service tech steals expensive parts, dealership pays to have it fixed. I would say go after them! If nothing else, maybe you will prevent future problems for others. I'm sure...

Sounds like a short. I'm also not convinced that the Green/Black wire is a ground wire. What exactly does the wire connect to in the engine bay? Just the block and chassis or a connector? Getting the starter checked is a good idea as well to eliminate that as the cause.
