Strange whinning noise at start up?

Dang, I opened the thread expecting to see you put a blower on the truck :argh:. I teased myself.

    SiriusXM Upgrade?

I thought 184 is as high as it goes. My GCSRT8 only goes to 184 as well.

    need steering wheel help NOW

Yeah, you unhook the plugs on the airbag itself, not the wheel.

    Bad ass ride for sale

That interior is crazy! They did a good job of setting it up like a cockpit.

    Bad ass ride for sale

Man that's sexy. Kind of reminds me of an F22 with the sharp angles and matte paint.

    New Insurance Premium

I think you need to take into account the resale of the house when you move again. It's guaranteed you will so you don't want get stuck with a house you can't sell because the schools are bad and crime is bad. In the long run, you might save $140/mo but lose out bigger when it comes PCS time...

    New Insurance Premium

That's such a huge jump in cost. When I PCSed down here my auto insurance jumped about $20/mo between 2 vehicles but my motorcycle went from $25/mo to $100. I'd move to VA if I were you. $140/mo is a good chunk of money. Especially if you can get a better house out there.

And we still have plenty of ugly girls in the AF.

    Military pay....RANT

You should check out the max weight allowances for a PCS. A brand new 2Lt is allowed the same weight as an E-8 or E-7. How many people right out of college have 15,000 lbs worth of stuff to move? E-5 w/ dependents gets 9000. I can understand the pay differences to an extent, but that kind of...

I have a dilemma for my next clutch

+1 on the Spec. I had a stage 3 with the Fidanza flywheel and the peddle feel was great. The clutch grabs like a champ too.

    Wolfram's old truck

This is the 6-speed right? Not an auto?

    Wolfram's old truck

So I'm looking at possibly getting back in an SRT10 and I found Wolfram's truck (originally Bikertats) for sale. Does anybody know what kind of condition it was in mechanically when he got rid of it? I saw he had a blown head gasket and a oil leak but could find whether or not he fixed these...

Dang, I lived just outside Wichita for 10 years and still go back there every few months. Never knew this place existed.

SRT Jeep, tell me about it

The interior is definitely more snug than the SRT10 is, but I think it's got more of a luxury look to it. The seats might be uncomfortable if you have a wide ass. Handling is awesome, especially if you upgrade your end-links and drop it a bit. It's a smoother ride since it's got coil...

    would you trade?

I'd keep the 10. I like my GCSRT8, but the truck was just more fun to drive. The auto sucks vs a 6-speed IMO. Waiting for it to downshift when I get on it makes me feel slow. Plus, the 10 just looks mean. Oh, and it's got the little red button...

    Supercharger

Rode in a paxton truck and had a Roe on my old 10. The Roe sounded totally bad ass, looked better, and was more fun ripping around town IMO. Personally, I love the Roe and it makes plenty of power for the street. Plus, Sean is great to deal with when it comes to his products.

    Body Mount Bushings

I think he sells all the ones you mentioned. End links, body mounts, steering rack, control arms, and leaf springs. If I'm not mistaken, the bushings he sells are Energy Suspension brand. I didn't realize the control arm bushings changed from 05 to 06.

    Body Mount Bushings

I had JTSVP's full bushing kit on my truck and it completely changed the handling. I thought it was tight before with just the drop kit, but the bushings took out what little body roll was left. Well worth the cost IMO.
