Your family is definately on my prayer list. They have come a long way with breast cancer treatment. A good friend of mine just beat stage 4 into remission.

Good for her!!!! all the more strength behind her. As you are already aware, nothing will take all the pain away, but you know whose buttons to push to keep her overnight for pain management if she needs it. There are just too many surgeries that should not go home the same day IMO. Helpful...

Prayers out to you and your wife-got her on the prayer chain at my church too. Does she get to stay in the hospital overnight or will they kick her out as an outpatient? Both of you get some rest, and hopefully this surgery will be the end to her problems.

I don't know how you guys do it out there in the street...a lot of hard and dangerous work for not much money. That's why I had a "comfort zone" in the ER...at least it was somewhat of a controlled environment. Thanks for what you do:rock:

you got my number....she can call anytime when she feels better. The first week is the worst-she probably gets exhausted just getting up to go to the bathroom. As long as the meds work and she gets all the sleep she needs, it will get better soon.:sleep:

Glad she made it home OK-sleeping in your own bed is always more comfortable. Hang in there Bill....your sex life will be a rockin' so much better once she heals...no more pain!!:rock: ;)

Just an FYI...our vet has reccomended benadryl in the past for sedation if Ivory needs it. The dose is one milligram per pound of the dog. It has worked well for our pups when needed. If her owner thinks she needs sedation, maybe her vet can give you a dose of something. I commend you for...
