I say plop down the $30K. You'll be in massive debt again, but you will work harder and be forced to make more money since you own your own business. All the while enjoying a bad ass truck. Plus all your multiple SRT forum posts will not go to waste.
I've always heard around 600hp is the max we should push our stock motors. For your numbers, you'll need to reinforce your rear end and XMSN as well. Our vendors would be the best to address your bottom end parts questions.
I would assume our mini winch that hoists up our spare can be used to secure a couple of 45lb plates, no?
Also about 10 years ago, I met a truck owner at the local drag strip that had placed sand bags inside of his tailgate for the same purpose you're stating.
Is it just me or do our generation SRT trucks look better than the latest Gen R/Ts? They're a new look and it does look nice, but it just doesn't have the lines IMHO.
BillyD - Very immature words coming out of your young mouth. Go pick on some Hondas with coffee can exhausts to race (should be the same maturity level), as our community and trucks are out of your league. There's a reason our stock Trucks dethroned your lightning for fastest production...
There's a different between being a fast truck enthusiast and coming onto another forum and challenging our brothers. It would be a different story if he came on here with a more friendly demeanor and getting a feel for our community. I'll say it again, no class.
