hate them "emergency" cable ends.
should be able to go with either crimp or solder cast copper cable ends
been done over the last few years.
usually just once or twice a year. before Torrie tunes it would show up also.
i know and agree with ya on the possibility of ECM goin south. seen it several times on da big trucks.
been gettin this code every now & then, twice today, shows to be a generic code for the fuel temp sensor.
best i can tell we don't have a fuel temp sensor.

man, when i bought a complete brake package back in 2007 for this Viper truck, paid $800ish
but that was from Perfect Brakes. $1100ish now.
might get a holt of one of our vendors here & see if they can do any better

yes its true. some '04's did not get the damper bolt torqued correctly. causin the bolt to back off & damper run loose & chewin up the damper & the nose of the crank.
simplest "fix", check and torque on the bolt & torque to spec.
next would be to check the...
8500+ RPM,there is no "metric" R.P.M.s are there??? no tie downs, single or twin rollers.
don't sound like she ever got up to full song & she ain't a 2014
