Back in 79 I bought a new 1979 F-150 (HD version of F-100 at the time) 4X4 with an IL 300 six and 4spd with bull dog first....really liked that truck..

You chose wisely.....I drove both an the Jeep definitely was a better choose...shorter, better mpg, handling.....the Durango looks great but we dont need the 3rd row seats and the slightly better mpg helps......and if past prices hold the Jeep will hold resale value much better...

Think again....base price is $60,960 (Jeep.com build your own Jeep - Build My Own - Select Model )....and the 2012 is not as quick as the 06-10 models even though it is 50hp stronger..problem is weight.......it is a beautiful over priced whale...
