Tell ya what Jeff, just throw mine in for April for the sake of the calender and keeping peace. I don't mind. I'll be the one short changed with no front page recognition. I'd take that one for the team.:D
I ran a 7.63s doing about 186 mph pass on street tires.... in my imagination once. I'll never do THAT again... :dontknow:Not like anyone would believe me anyway...:(
Why don't y'all just call this 'MAY TOTM'? I don't think it would be a big deal to skip a month in order to get things back on track. It beats the winner of this go 'round feeling short changed for being on the front page for less than a week. Heck, I come here so little that April's TOTM...
With all of the mods listed (aside from the 2/3 drop), this rig looks almost untouched... Like it just came off the showroom floor. I like that; very clean looking with a hidden dark agenda.:congrats:
I didn't even know you were in Houston too. The truck looks really clean. I sure wish I were in the position financially to take her off you hands. Would be a great addition to my fleet.
Makes perfect sense to me. I can't say I ever saw up any of the guy's sleeves so I can’t vouch for him that he came clean with the information he volunteered. Plus there ARE countless variables that come into play. And I have to admit, the result was more like 12.7 now that I think of it. In...
12 flat is lower than low 12's. I didn't say he was THAT fast. Perhaps a 10 with low miles on the odo and a fantastic driver is a good combo to achieve what some may consider the unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised he was regularly using higher than high octane fuel. I dunno; I'm just...
:dontknow:Call it what you will. I wouldn't say it if it didn't happen tho. I would have called BS too but I saw it for myself. The dude had skills and the silver RC he owned was beaten to hell on a regular basis. He seemed to live at the track on weekends in Baytown, TX.. It was back when...
Heck, a sales a sale. Perhaps he will have the dash instrument cluster I want. Since 2008 the resistors behind mine that control the auto door locks fried due to a poor grounding condition when the stealership had the alarm installed before I first took delivery of her in 2005. Of course...
I saw a video some years ago of Jerry in action. That was ca-ra-zee.. And he's 6th on cave's original list?? Damn... I remember Blaine@PSI was hitting very low 12s bone stock in his silver '04 in Houston around 2005??? I thought he was going to break his truck by the way he drove that thing...
Is this '04 still being parted out? I'm looking for the air dams that fit behind the hood grill. I'm also looking for the dash instrument cluster since it's an '04. If those items are available please PM me. I will be happy to drop some good money on these items.
I have a set still installed on #1900. Mine are brushed aluminum. I got 'em from X-Metal ages ago. But I am certain Tony can have these made. With his skill-set this endeavor should be a cakewalk in the park.
:joyman:This is a very good shifter. :drool:I love my Gen I (pictured above). I got the base of mine autographed by Tony when I bought it new in 2011, and then his lovely wifey Miss JoAnn:girl: installed it for me.
:dontknow:What's the difference between Gen's I and 2 anyway??
