I have a complete X-Metal gen 3 shifter hanging in my garage. Nothing wrong with it at all. I think it has a black shifter knob with a red Viper 'FANGZ' emblem on it. :dontknow:Pay for shipping only and the full set up is yours.. Lemmie know.
I remember this thread from way back. I don't think I ever received an answer about the instrument dash cluster. I still want one for a '04 RC. I'm sure this truck is long gone by now. I can't see him keeping it around for 5 years like that.
Old thread but I saw the movie 'Ride Along' last night for the first time. There is a great scene at the beginning of a chase with a red, white stripped SRT-10 in 'hot' pursuit (you'll see why I said that). Sanchoba would be proud.
Welcome home from Norway (at the moment)... I live in Houston though. What part of Texas are you in? I know the waiting is the tough part, but.... I assure you, it will be worth it. :eek:Believe it!!
I generally shift @ 3,000 rpms. Also the sound of the engine is a good indicator for me. I haven't seen my shift light come on for years (it's set for 5,200 rpm). If I'm in 6th then I'm on the freeway and rpm's stay around 1500 and slightly below. Great gas mileage that way. The only time...
I remember having this problem way back when on my '97 RAM 4X4 with a 318 cu/in. Would just happen during cold start. Every now and then the same occurs on #1900 today. To be fair, it happens after she's been off for like 4 to 6 weeks.... aaaand it's only for a short instant.
With over 11k members on this forum (I'm sure quite a few are no longer active) there's bound to be a diverse array of opinions and comments. We should just keep in mind that this is the Internet and anything goes until... the rooster crows?? is that.... is that right??
Gone may be the days...
:Dsheeeeeeee-at.. The price could rise and fall but I'm never selling mine. Been the original owner of my.... '04 uuh..BS ..RC (that right??? bright silver?) and it will stay that way.
Prayers go out to Scot and Paul. I can only hope I am granted a fraction of the strength you two have in your difficult times. I sincerely hope your wives beat this and come through healthy and strong. Though Scot's truck is fabulous it is still only material when it all boils down. Your...
Great kit Scott. 6 speed is the way to go. Not sure about the other way. I like #1900 to remain a tire shredding, MPG getting, Lightning eating garage queen of a beast.
That sucks but at least no one was hurt and they can repair a number of them while NONE of them will be scrapped. The publicity will certainly bring in spectators to get a look-see of what was damaged, and ultimately this will bring in more revenue. Unfortunately for some peeps; however, their...
I didn't know Scott-la-Rock. I've seen this done on countless Chargers and Challys. Tony currently has a black set on his Chally. I assumed the 300C would be the same. If not then there are some other wheels for the 300 I've had my eye on. I still wanna powder coat the OEMs I have for the 10..
That's about the worse sight I've seen all month. And in Pasadena,TX? That's scary. (knock on wood) I've had mine since 2005 in the Houston area. I never drive her anywhere I would have to leave her alone. I live in a gated community but she stays in the garage no matter what. Plus motion...
#1900 has developed into quite the GARAGE QUEEN so she won't be seeing any 1320 pavement. :dontknow:She now serves strictly as "therapy" when I take her out to run a couple twenty miles every now and then.
Me thinks we should do it again. I return home to the US April 27th. I'm down for another GTG. New peeps included fo-sho. We can head back to the crib afterwards like before. Hopefully we can get JSandlin to attend this go around.
Not trying to be funny but the only stock part number I'm interested in is the paint code. At $15k I would jump all on it if it were still the original color.
Seems to me Chrysler couldn't afford to honor our warranties either.. This was evident by their attempt to black ball any given warranty over the dumbest of reasons. But yes, those Vipers should have been under a better lock and key. Apparently, that school's motto is, "With great power comes...
