Good Morning, all.:vollkommenauf: Man that big light is bright.:coffee:
The dowels are there along with a new pilot bearing.
Done, It checks out OK.
None was suggested. I have only used Royal Purple, Break in oil for 700 miles.
Then switched to XPR10-40 raceing oil. Now using...
Do you remember the #'s from the compression teat I did at the race? I'm thinking all around 157 ave. I call Rusell tomorrow to see if he can bring me the gauges to do another comp/leak down test.
Excellent point, Thank You.
Almost for got about the oil, have ran 3 cases through (Only drained 1)
P.S. Tony, do you have the same specs. for the stock pistons for comparison to these? (or the one in my engine, if different)
The vibration starts at 145, and get ridiculous over 150. (FYI my first RC ran at 170 without even a rattle from the shifter)
At the last BBORR I drop down into a class where I couldn't go over 140 without being DQ'ed. I ran most of the course at (or just below) 140, with no vibration...
Non-communication is the reason I brought it here. I understand that shit happens and I don"t really want to crucify "Sloan". I just need proof of what I paid for, and is it really safe for "FI".
OK so I'd have to call...
:bs: on the compesion. The #'s you gave would be more believable acording to the parts you supplied & the dyno #'S.
Plus, he did have the intake.
Thanks Tony.
Sloan told me it had been bored over but with the surfacing the comp. sould be "about" 10.5:1. I forgot about the timing chain.
The shipping damage is still suspicious, especially considering he did request more gaskets.
