Well first things first. I will finish maxing out what I currently have. This will come pretty quickly as Justin should have the larger plenum and throttle body setup done very soon. Then it's off to the dyno again. Based on those numbers I may just end up leaving it alone or going compounded...
Between the deletion of the hydraulic fan (a lot less restriction) and the over sized crank pulley, you're are probabably creating excessive pressure in the system and therefore causing your concern.
You will lose the tranny sooner than later. I have to agree with Tony on this one. The problem is not the 100 shot but rather how fast it comes on. The line pressure goes through the roof instantly.
You"re right Tony, that is one of Dino's hoods. Supposively, that company sold the mold to someone else. I believe they're out of business. I looked into a while back and the reviews were terrible.
Hey Danny, if no one picks up the kit, I'll take it off your hands and do a compound boost setup. By the way, I went to your site and saw the custom liner you did on your truck. That's way cool.
Here is some more information. I took the measurements this morning of the blower inlet and compared it to the new T/B's outlet and here is what I found. The blower inlet is 4 3/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches and the new T/B's outlet is 6 3/4 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches in height.
So now lets...
The inlet size of the blower is a bit smaller than the throttle body but not by much. My main concern is giving it all the air it can take rather than have it cavitate or create a vacuum out side the throttle body.
Kyle, everything will be available through all the vendors I've dealt with or anyone willing to ask. I won't be holding out any information. I'm sure there are better options out there and if I had to do it all again, I would probably go with Justin's Procharger kit.
